    It was a bad year I suppose. Since they said that the economy was never this bad since world war 2.

    A lot of bad things happened, from milk poisoning to big disasters, and Swine Flu outbreak. Even death of MJ just before his mega concert.

    Banks went bankrupt and people are losing their jobs.

    There is no way to put it that 2009 was in any way a good year.
